School Board
Meeting Information
School Board meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Danville Room on the lower level of the School Board Office, at 341 Main Street (Patton Street entrance). Monthly work sessions are normally scheduled 15 days after the regular meeting at 7:30 a.m. in the Danville Room. Special public meetings and public hearings on various subjects are scheduled as needed.
The primary function of the School Board is to provide guidance for the education of students
and the operation of schools.
Written policies of the Board, as well as administrative regulations and notices, are compiled in the School Board
Policy Manual, which is available for citizen inspection in each school, the School Board Office, the public library,
and the Danville School District website.
