Forest Hills Student Wins State Poster Contest

Grace Holland, a 4th grade student at Forest Hills, was one of twelve students selected in a state-wide poster contest conducted by the Virginia Council on Economic Education. The contest required the students to interpret economic concepts at grade level. Grace’s winning design reflects the value of Virginia exports to world markets. Her work is being shown in the Federal Reserve Building in Richmond and on the Virginia Council on Economic Education’s web site. Also, Grace received a $25 gift from the Council.
