Art Show Winners

     O. T. Bonner Middle School had eighteen student winners at the art show for Fine Arts Night at George Washington High School recently. Awards of Distinction were awarded to Karen Delgado and Anna Rosa. Carter Light won second place in the pencil category. In the pen and ink category, Ariel Lee won first place, and Benjamin Hudson won third place. Michael Lewis won first place in the pastel category. In the print making category, Carrie Dabney won first place, Taevis Flannigan won second place, and Michael Lewis won third place.

      Brittani Hatch won first place and Joshua Chapelle won third place in the painting category. Kim Ann Nguyen won first place and Tamia Morrison won third place in the mixed media/collage category. In the sculpture category, Ashley Sword won first place, Abbey Abueznaid won second place, and Aaron Watkins won third place. Dakota Raines won first place in the pottery category.

      These students have been invited to an awards reception at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History to receive their ribbons. Their artwork will be displayed at the museum until May 12th.
Congratulations to these students and to Ms. Camburides, Bonner Art Teacher, for all of the hard work, effort, and creativity that went into designing and creating these pieces of art.
