"Global Competition Begins Here"

Pi Day

The Galileo Magnet High School Math Department celebrated Pi Day on March 14 challenging students to see who could remember the most digits of Pi. Students winning the contest were Isaiah, Daniel, Trey and Jacob who got to compete in a pie contest in honor of their accomplishment. Sophomore Trey won the contest, moving the most Hershey Kisses out of his pie and onto his tray the fastest. Also taking place on Pi Day was the pieing of French Teacher Ms. Rocker. Students voted all week to see which teacher would get pied in the face and Ms. Rocker beat out contenders Mrs. Culley and Mrs. Dalton who won had the second and third highest votes.
