Dr. Mariska Adams’ Biology Class Experiments with Enzymes
Dr. Adams' Biology classes have been learning about enzymatic activity. Without enzymes to speed the body's processes, we would not effectively digest our foods, heal wounds, or make new skin cells everyday. The class studied catalase, a widely present enzyme in living tissues. If you have ever wondered why peroxide makes bubbles on YOUR cuts and scrapes, ask any of Dr. Adams’ students!
