Johnny Appleseed
Schoolfield celebrated Johnny Appleseed! Learning about Johnny Appleseed is a fun way to present essential vocabulary to young students. They need to know terms such as long ago, past, present, real, make-believe and history.
Teacher John Tuck presented a short program on the life of John Chapman by reading and acting out a story. Dressed as Johnny Appleseed, he entertained all. Title I also had a Make-it and Take-it for students and their parents.
