Students at W. W. Moore Practice CPR Skills

Students at W.W. Moore Detention Education program learned the American Heart Association’s lifesaving skill of CPR during their Health and Physical Education class. Addressing the standards of learning for health, students practiced the skill of giving compressions to Mini Anne. Each student will receive a kit containing the Family & Friends CPR Anytime DVD, a Mini Anne, a replacement lung and care instructions. Through the use of the kit, students will be able to refresh their skills and share with family and friends skills needed to help someone. Purchase of the kits was made possible through a grant from the Womack Foundation. The students enjoyed this great learning experience. Dr. Lynn Dillon, Health/Physical Education Instructor, wrote the grant and coordinated the learning activity.
