Education Program

The 2014-15 academic year has gotten off to a good start. The students are being provided instruction that is based on the Standards of Learning. The goal of the education program is to provide educational services that will allow the student to maintain and/or advance his/her current level of achievement. In order to meet the individual needs of students, a variety of instructional strategies, including technology, are being used. A total of 10 students received honor roll certificates for the first grading period. One student recently graduated from high school.

Additionally, the education program promotes character education in an effort to foster the development of learners who are productive citizens. Each month a different character trait is highlighted. The students who exemplify the character trait are awarded a certificate at the end of the month.
