Career and Technical Tours

8th grade students in Danville recently had the opportunity to tour the George Washington High School Career and Technical Education laboratories. Career and Technical Education programs allow students to explore career interest areas, learn workplace readiness skills, and learn job skills. Through the tours, 8th grade students had an opportunity to see what programs they could take at George Washington High School. In the next two months, the students will be selecting their program of study for 9th grade. The tours will help them know what to expect at high school and how to choose a program of study that will prepare them to choose a career area of study upon graduation.
