On Thursday, January 5, Westwood Middle School 8th graders visited George Washington High School to learn about school offerings and tour the many outstanding Career and Technical Education laboratories. The CTE programs offer students the opportunity to both explore career interests they may want to pursue after high school and learn specific skills that will help them one day in post secondary classes and/or the workplace. This visit was designed to help 8th graders make a sound decision about the high school they would like to attend and the program of study they would like to pursue. The students completed their high school experience in the cafeteria where they were served lunch ‘GWHS’ style.
