Career Day
Woodberry Hills held its annual Career Day on Tuesday, Oct. 18th with the following businesses represented: American National Bank, BB&T, First State Bank, Danville City Sheriff’s Department, Danville City Fire Department, Danville Public Schools, WDVA Radio, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hargrave Military Academy, and Danville Community College. A local DJ, nurse and cosmetologist also participated.
Students in fourth and fifth grade were given information about the qualifications needed for each career and were told of the importance of receiving a good education when choosing a career. Thank you to all the representatives who volunteered their time to talk to our students.
