Library Procedures for Faculty and Staff

Audiovisual Equipment

Faculty and staff may check out CD/audiocassette players, overhead projectors, data/digital projectors, document cameras, and other audiovisual equipment for the school year.

Televisions, videocassette recorders, and DVD players may be checked out daily based on availability. The equipment scheduling notebook is located near the circulation desk for easy accessibility. Please reserve televisions, VCRs, and DVD players by 2:25 p.m. at least one day before you need the equipment. Let Mrs. Sadler know if you have reserved DVD players or other equipment and have decided not to use the requested resources. Due to the high demand, we would like to be able to reassign these units. Return the equipment to the library each afternoon by 2:25 p.m.

Books and Magazines

Faculty and staff may check out books for personal and school use. For a lost or damaged book, the replacement cost is $15.00. The cost of a damaged book that will be sent to the bindery for repair is $10.00. Mrs. Sadler will pull magazines from the magazine room for teachers. Teachers may copy the information they need and return the magazines to Mrs. Sadler. The replacement cost for a lost or damaged magazine is $5.00.

Scheduling Classes

If you would like to schedule your classes to use the library for research or book checkout, please see the librarian in advance to reserve the day(s) and time(s) you and your students need.

Please let Mrs. Sadler know if she can be of assistance.
