Forest Hills

Summer Library Program

Forest Hills School Media Center has remained open for the month of June to allow students to check out books and take Accelerated Reader tests. In addition, students have been allowed to participate in small reading groups led by the school media specialist, Ms. Arnn. Science experiments have included making honey butter after reading a book on the honeybee and measuring bubble gum bubbles after reading a book on the history of bubble gum. The computer lab has also been made available for students to log on to educational websites on Math, Science and Reading.

Shown in the pictures is our summer instructor, Mrs. Wasson, making honey butter and measuring a bubble blown by a Forest Hills student.
