Character Education - March

Character Education is a strong component of our program and is integrated across the curriculum. Each month a new character trait is introduced. Courage was the character trait for the month of March. Ms. Jocelyn Fitzgerald, principal of Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, addressed the topic of courage with the students on March 20, 2013. Ms. Fitzgerald shared some information about how she had to reach deep within herself and find courage when she was growing up. She pointed out how it takes courage to make the right choices in life. Ms. Fitzgerald talked about how our life is like a book. Each day, with courage, we write new chapters in our book. She encouraged the students to leave the past behind them and move forward to a bright and promising future.
